Panasonic NN-H765WF 1250 Watt Microwave Review
The Panasonic NN-H765WF microwave is one of the best I have seen. But before you buy a microwave, you need to consider a few things.
First, you should determine the size and power of the oven in terms of how many people are in your family and if you will use it as your primary cooking device. You will need a highly powered unit if you plan on doing the majority of cooking using the microwave. Two, think about how big your cookware is: Will it fit in the oven?
Second, how will you use the microwave? Do you need it to defrost things, or cook and then keep the food warm? These kind of options are available on certain models.
Update: This microwave can be purchased through this link.
How much room do you have for the microwave? Microwaves are available as counter top unit, under-the-cabinet, over-the-range, or even as built-ins.
Let’s take a look at some of the features of this microwave:
- 1250-watt full-sized microwave oven with 1-3/5-cubic-foot capacity
- 15-inch turntable for even heating; 1-touch sensor cooking; keep warm
- Inverter Turbo Defrost; 10 power levels; menu-action screen with function key

When you are considering size, the compact or small microwaves are generally less than .8 cubic feet and are powered with 500 to 800 watts, the mid-size units have .8 to 1.2 cubic feet of interior space and run on 800 to 1000 watts of power, and lastly the full size microwaves have capacity of 1.2 cubic feet or more and require more than 1000 watts of power to run.
Look for a microwave with a good turntable that is removable so you can clean it up when messes occur. Some models have sensors or probes that tell you when the food is cooked. Also, make sure your microwave has plenty of pre-set timers. These microwaves have so many timers it is just great! Just press the button and it does the work.Microwaves are much more capable than the earlier models where owners used them mostly to reheat or thaw out foods – now you can actually cook entire meals with them.
Let me show you what current owners have to say about it.
P. Johnson.,
“I Purchased this to replace an older Panasonic unit that caught fire.
It is well made, stays “put” on the counter when pushing selections.
The Sensor Reheat seems to work well. I like the way the door works.

We found some excellent reviews in Consumer Reports, on Amazon.com, and in magazines like Good Housekeeping. If you choose to go shopping online, Epinions is a good source to find out what owners feel about their purchases and they have a lot of microwaves models and brands listed in their reviews.
